GMI was founded in 1962 by Rafael Mendoza Castellón, a renowned entrepreneur, visionary leader, and iconic figure in Bolivian sports. His legacy has been essential in building a business group committed to the country's progress and deeply rooted in ethics, effort, and excellence. 1960 - Se funda Grupo Mendoza de Inversiones con el objetivo con el objetivo de promover el progreso del país y el bienestar futuro.
1993 - Nace Haciendas SAN RAFAEL.
1996 - Nace COPELME S.A.
2007 - Nace la FUNDACIÓN ANTONIETA MENDOZA, el corazón de Grupo Mendoza de Inversiones.
2018 - Nace la RECICLADORA MENDOZA para impulsar un nuevo hito en nuestro propósito de sustentabilidad.
2018 - Se inaugura PLASME una unidad dedicada a la transformación de plásticos de flexibles.
2018 - Se inaugura EDIM (Empresa de Importaciones Mendoza), dedicada a importar insumos para el sector institucional.
2023 - Nace COPELME TEAM, con el objetivo de incentivar a deportistas bolivianos a hacer el mejor papel en el deporte nacional e internacional.
